Naturally several Blue Net staff members and their friends use the Blue Net home ADSL service.  It is a pleasure to be able to endorse our product from personal experience.  The service is quick and reliable - certainly a delight for home use.  And with the flat rate products you never need to worry about additional download charges again.

All our SOHO/home services are UNLIMITED usage and online time with a reduced speed when the subscribed data limit is exceeded, but never attracts extra traffic charges.

While these connections are very good they are not suitable for businesses, who are reliant on guaranteed continuous Internet access. Please consider Blue Net's Business Grade Internet connections.

We sell and highly recommend the Netcomm NB5PLUS4 ADSL router. 

A router gives you a lot of advantages over an ADSL modem.  Some of them are:

  • Security:  NAT firewall.  You can be comfortable that your computers are very safe from hackers on the Internet even if you don't buy any firewall software.

  • Sharing the Internet between many computers: You can share the one ADSL connection between many computers easily.

  • Easy to use:  When you buy your router from Blue Net, we will pre-configure it for you.  That means you take it home, plug it in and that's it - you're on the internet.  No fuss.  You shouldn't even have to set up your computer!

  • No more passwords:  The router remembers your username and password.  You can do whatever you like to your computer, the Internet will always be right there.

We can also recommend a wireless router solution.  This means you don't have to use ethernet cables (those blue cables you can see coming out of the back of our Netcomm above) and you still get all the benefits above.  Ask us for more information if you are interested.
